Write personalised cold email first lines for a whole list
Updated 1 November 2026 · 5 min read
Short answer
To personalise first lines for a whole list, upload a CSV with a website column to AI lines in ReplyDak. AI reads each prospect's site and writes a personal opening line for them. You can run up to 1,000 prospects per list and 2,000 a day. It is free for your first 3 months, then about ₹0.10 per prospect.
The first line is the part a prospect reads before deciding whether to read on. A line about their own business shows you looked. Writing one by hand for each of hundreds of prospects takes hours. AI lines does the first draft for the whole list, and you spend your time checking instead of writing.

Write first lines in ReplyDak
- 1
Sign up free
Create an account at app.replydak.com/signup. No card is needed.
- 2
Verify the list first
Run the CSV through Verify so you do not spend effort on addresses that will bounce. See verify an email list.
- 3
Check the website column
Make sure every row has the prospect's company website. Rows without a site have nothing for the AI to read.
- 4
Upload to AI lines
Open AI lines in the dashboard and upload the CSV. Split lists over 1,000 prospects into parts, and keep under 2,000 a day.
- 5
Review the lines
Read through the results. Fix any line that sounds off or states something you would not say, and drop rows where the line is weak.
- 6
Put the line in your email
Use the first line as a field in Campaigns or in your sequencer, such as Instantly or Smartlead, at the top of the first email.
Tips for good first lines
- Link the line to your offer. The opener should lead naturally into why you are writing.
- Keep it short. One sentence is enough.
- Do not overdo praise. A plain, specific remark reads better than flattery.
- Spot-check every batch. AI can misread a site, so read a sample before you send.
- Test it. Compare a campaign with AI lines against one without, on a few hundred prospects each.
What it costs

Write a personal first line for up to 1,000 prospects per list, free for your first 3 months.
Domains, DNS, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace mailboxes and warmup. From $2.69 per mailbox ($35 for 10).
When ReplyDak is not the right tool
AI lines works from a prospect's website. If your list has no websites, or you want lines based on social posts or news, it will not fit. It also does not find prospects; ReplyDak does not sell lead lists. If you need to personalise many thousands of prospects in one day, the 2,000-a-day limit will slow you down. And a good first line cannot fix a weak offer or a bad list. To compare infrastructure providers, see ReplyDak vs the market leader.
